Frequently asked questions

Are you allowed to be exposed to UV-C Light?

UV-C is very powerful because it deactivates the cells of viruses & germs so it is not safe to living cells. As much as possible, AVOID direct contact with the UV-C light. For handheld devices, it is one-sided so the light will not reflect on you. However, for the Antibac To-Go and Lamps, please STEP OUT of the car or room during disinfection. Please read instructions before use. LYFSABER cares.

Are LYFSABER™ products the same from those without a brand?

No, it is NOT the same. Our boards are different. LYFSABER™ also has a Service Center and We give a 1 year after sales service. PLEASE BEAR IN MIND THAT WE WILL ONLY REPAIR OR SERVICE LYFSABER PRODUCTS BOUGHT IN STORE WITH THE OFFICIAL SEAL OR STICKER. WE DO NOT REPAIR DEVICES PURCHASED ELSEWHERE. Is UV-C safe for pregnant women?

As long as the UV-C DOES NOT penetrate the skin, then that should be fine. As a public health message, other types of UV radiation (UVA and UVB) are considered hazardous and one should minimize the amount of time of exposure.

Is UV-C safe for food and water?

UVC will kill the gamut of microbial contaminants, whether naturally occurring or the result of bio-tampering, including Listeria, Escherichia coli, Salmonella, Staphylococcus, and other microorganisms. UVC is safe to use, leaves no surface residue, and will not chemically alter food products. Source:
